About the role

Senior Full Stack Engineer focused on the Notebook reactive computing platform, responsible for end-to-end feature development from frontend to data layer, testing, and deployment in a highly technical environment focused on software reliability and AI-assisted code verification.

Responsibilities

  • Make improvements to a reactive engine for executing Javascript (like a Jupyter-like auto-recalc system).
  • Own a new feature, from the front end to the data layer, including contributing to a custom database/proxy/API server as needed.
  • Create Property Based Tests and Antithesis workloads to test the things you create.
  • Work with product managers to design and scope features.
  • Develop build and deployment logic in Nix.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with complex customer facing-products.
  • Very comfortable with Typescript, and readiness to pick up Rust work.
  • Strong technical skills and a solid programming background in algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience building static and dynamic websites.
  • Understanding of how the internet and browsers work.
