About the role

Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer on the Cohere Dashboard team responsible for delivering user-facing experiences, collaborating across partners, and building resilient, scalable systems for the Cohere Dashboard.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to delightful experiences for user-facing products, crafting code for browsers and servers
  • Collaborate and grow with engineering colleagues through pairing, architectural designs, documentation and talks
  • Identify and remove roadblocks to increase engineering velocity
  • Build resilient, mission-critical systems
  • Keep up with cutting-edge technologies to improve performance and reliability

Qualifications

  • Experience shipping products with a large number of stakeholders
  • Front- and back-end experience with Next.js, TypeScript, React, and Python
  • Hands-on experience with complex SQL queries
  • Excellent communication skills and belief in documentation as feedback and collaboration tool
  • Willingness to adopt new technologies where it makes sense
  • Ability to translate complex needs into easy-to-understand explanations for all audiences
  • Excitement about AI and motivation to scale a company
