About the role

Notion is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to create a thoughtful, well-run, and human candidate experience. This role sits at the center of the hiring process and supports scheduling interviews, answering candidate questions, and ensuring a smooth recruiting process. The position is hybrid and based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Create a candidate experience that reflects Notion by handling scheduling, answering questions, and resolving issues to keep interactions organized and respectful.
  • Coordinate interviews with care and precision across primarily non-technical roles, balancing speed with attention to detail, and keeping candidates and interviewers aligned.
  • Build strong recruiting foundations by developing fundamentals, potentially taking on light sourcing, process improvements, and additional ownership over time.

Qualifications

  • 6–12 months of experience in recruiting coordination or interview scheduling, ideally in a high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Calm, steady presence in fast-moving environments
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with optimism
  • Clear, kind, and professional communication skills
  • Curiosity about AI and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve efficiency
