About the role

Senior engineering role focusing on delivering AI-powered features, scalable platform capabilities, and user-centric experiences. Emphasis on generative AI, scalable data handling, real-time querying/notification, and optimized search within Peregrine’s AI-enabled platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own large portions of the application from start to finish
  • Craft powerful, intuitive user experiences powered by generative AI
  • Unlock new ways for users to interact with the platform
  • Shape safe, impactful AI-driven features to help customers solve real-world problems
  • Scale the platform to handle terabytes of data ingested from diverse sources
  • Efficiently query and notify users on data in real time
  • Optimize search algorithms to serve results quickly
  • Collaborate with deployment team and users during iteration cycles
  • Write robust, well-tested, and well-designed code that gets deployed to users
  • Work with a backend stack including Python, Django, Celery, Airflow, Kafka; frontend React/Redux/Mapbox; data stores PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch; ML models on Bedrock/Sagemaker; AWS, Pulumi, Terraform, Kubernetes
