Developer Marketer - Sales
About the role
Developer Marketer focused on sales enablement for PostHog's devtool products. Owns positioning, messaging, and enablement materials to help Sales win deals, collaborating with PMMs, engineers, and the sales team in a remote, async, product-led environment.
Responsibilities
- Owning sales enablement end-to-end. You'll be the person Sales goes to for positioning, competitive material, objection handling, and customer stories. You'll build and maintain the playbooks in the public handbook so Sales can find what they need in the moment they need it.
- Translating PMM work into Sales-ready material. Turn product-level positioning and messaging into battlecards, talk tracks, discovery questions, and enablement sessions that Sales can actually use.
- Filling positioning gaps. Own positioning for platform features and areas without a dedicated PMM so Sales has a clear story everywhere.
- Surfacing insight from real customer conversations. Extract use cases, objections, and pain points from Gong recordings and Slack threads to feed messaging, content, and product.
- Shipping. Deliver enablement every week—battlecards, FAQs, training sessions, launch enablement— iterating fast based on Sales feedback.
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, researching, and communication skills
- Development experience, including vibecoded side projects
- Experience targeting developers as customers or writing for technical audiences
- Experience building and maintaining sales enablement content that's actually used
- Comfort working closely with Sales as your primary internal customer
- AI-focused: hands-on experience using AI to turn customer conversations and product updates into sales enablement that helps win deals.

About PostHog
The single platform to analyze, test, observe, and deploy new features
PostHog helps engineers build better products. We provide everything they need to make sure they are building something that people want. This means - product analytics, session replays, feedback tools, feature flags, experimentation, LLM observability, and a data warehouse (with SQL) with one click data imports from the places you use. We've been averaging ~10% monthly revenue growth, we are [default alive](http://www.paulgraham.com/aord.html), and we didn't raised a huge / now-overpriced round in 2021. While others are focused on layoffs and struggling to grow into huge valuations, we're focusing on an awesome product for end users, hiring (a handful of) exceptional team members and seeing fantastic increases in revenue as a result.
