Senior DevOps Engineer
About the role
Senior DevOps Engineer for Prelim, responsible for end-to-end infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and governance in a regulated fintech environment.
Responsibilities
- - Own the build, test, and deploy pipeline. Ensure shipping is fast and safe with progressive rollouts, fast rollbacks, and deploy confidence.
- - Make and enforce infrastructure as fully reproducible environments via code.
- - Define and hit uptime targets; build out monitoring, alerting, and incident response; mature on-call practices.
- - Ensure change management, access controls, and audit logging meet SOC 2 and bank due-diligence requirements; partner with security.
- - Own cloud costs and optimize infrastructure spend as the company grows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in DevOps / SRE / platform engineering roles; experience as an early or solo infra hire preferred
- Deep fluency with AWS and infrastructure-as-code in production
- Built CI/CD pipelines used by engineers
- Strong observability, SLOs, and incident processes
- Comfortable operating in regulated/compliance-heavy environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Automation-first mindset with good documentation
- Pragmatic with scaling considerations for different company sizes (50 vs 400+)
