About the role

Prelim is hiring their first dedicated recruiter to run full-cycle recruiting across engineering, sales, and implementations, improve interview processes, and scale hiring to support growth.

Responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and supporting offers through close
  • Fill pipelines with cold outreach, referrals, and events — not just process inbound applications
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand what “exceptional” looks like for each role
  • Help run campus recruiting efforts
  • Track pipeline metrics and report what’s working and what isn’t
  • Protect candidate experience — fast loops, honest communication, clean closes

Qualifications

  • Clear communicator with strong writing skills: you’ll write JD’s, reports, debriefs, offer letters, and internal documentation
  • Genuine interest in people: reading them, persuading them, advocating for them
  • Output volume you can point to — a role where you handled high throughput (customers served, calls made, events run, tickets closed)
  • Evidence you learn hard things fast — what, how quickly, and what the result was
  • A track record of top-tier performance: early promotion, top ranking, a team you led, a business you started
  • Nice to have: any exposure to recruiting, sales, or fintech
