About the role

Inventory Control Specialist responsible for receiving cannabis products, supervising warehouse movements, and maintaining inventory accuracy within the WMS/ERP system at Kiva Confections in Alameda, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments, check for damages and sort stock for distribution
  • Keep record of purchases received into facility
  • Conduct inventory audits and cycle counting
  • Control the movement of merchandise in the warehouse
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager to devise new stocking procedures and to develop techniques for improving order fulfillment pick rate efficiencies
  • Audit the facilities entire inventory on a regular basis and provide accuracy reports to management.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience handling live inventory & WMS/ERP systems
  • 1+ year of experience with METRC from an auditing perspective
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient knowledge in warehouse inventory management through WMS software
  • Ability to create new, more efficient processes from scratch
  • Ability to generate solutions to problems ad hoc
  • Forklift certified, preferred
