About the role

Neowiz is seeking an English Linguist (contract) to support rapid English translations, English LQA, and review of external translation work for global game localization. The role operates on-site at Neowiz HQ in Pangyo and is part of the Localization (L10N) control tower focused on delivering high-quality localized game experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Urgent English translation for all internal projects
  • English LQA for all internal projects
  • Evaluate/edit English translations produced by external vendors (review)
  • Prepare quarterly evaluations of external translation vendors

Qualifications

  • Native-level or near-native proficiency in English with deep understanding of English-speaking cultures
  • Ability to translate and proofread from Korean to English
  • Strong understanding of games
  • High proficiency in Korean speaking and reading
  • Excellent time management
  • Experience at a translation company or extensive translation work
  • Strong passion for gaming and familiarity with the games handled by Neowiz
