About the role

Contract linguist specialized in Traditional Chinese translation and LQA for Neowiz's localization team, focusing on rapid turnaround for internal projects, external vendor reviews, and quarterly performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Urgent Traditional Chinese translation for internal projects
  • Traditional Chinese LQA for internal projects
  • Evaluate/revise Traditional Chinese translations produced by external vendors (reviews)
  • Prepare quarterly evaluation reports of external translation vendors

Qualifications

  • Native-level proficiency in Traditional Chinese with deep understanding of Chinese culture
  • Korean to Traditional Chinese translation and proofreading capability
  • Strong understanding of games and gaming terminology
  • High proficiency in Korean speaking and reading
  • Excellent time management
  • Experience at a translation company or extensive translation work experience
  • Passion for gaming and for the specific titles managed by the incumbent
