About the role

Senior role based in Hong Kong focusing on leading analytics engagements for international clients, driving client value, and developing junior team members within Ekimetrics’ Asia practice.

Responsibilities

  • - Leading challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across high-profile presentations to senior clients. Teams of 3 to 6 consultants on 2 to 3 projects simultaneously.
  • '- The primary focus will be to drive high client value and broaden relationships at senior levels and translate this into new business opportunities for Ekimetrics.
  • '- Lead projects from discovery meetings to final recommendations, gather/analyze data, build statistical models, translate quantitative insights into strategic recommendations, and deliver results as a persuasive story.
  • '- Develop junior team members to perform high-impact work across core client areas.
  • '- Drive development initiatives and new thought-leadership, transfer knowledge to juniors, and build Ekimetrics reputation in Asia.
  • '- Actively identify actions to improve engagements, retain top performers, and sponsor diverse talent in the organization.
  • '- Design and scope new projects, deliver with excellence, ensure client satisfaction, and raise/resolve issues promptly.
  • '- Present actionable findings to drive adoption and client retention and new business opportunities.
  • '- Contribute to Thought-Leadership, Knowledge Management, Recruitment, Culture, Gender Balance and Diversity initiatives; pioneer ML/AI techniques for the office.

Qualifications

  • - Master’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, operations research or MBA (preferred)
  • - 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis / Modelling / Advanced Analytics in a business setting, preferably client-facing consulting
  • - Passion for data with strong knowledge in statistics/applied mathematics, modelling/optimization, and advanced analytics methodologies
  • - Experience with statistical software such as R, Python, etc.
