Software engineer role at Google Pay with focus on building and owning user flows in the Flutter-based app, performance, latency, and reliability, in a fast-paced, scalable environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain key surfaces within the flutter-based Google Pay app, with a focus on performance optimization, User Interface (UI) development and RPC integration.
  • Build and own entire user flows in the app with a focus on performance, and latency.
  • Work on relevant technologies such as Java, Dart, Flutter, Android/iOS, and AI Agent prompting.
  • Work with relevant technologies including Java, Dart, Flutter, Android/iOS, AI Agent prompting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
  • 3 years of experience with full stack development, across the back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases.
