About the role

Be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. Contribute to the innovation behind products loved by millions worldwide by defining standards, specifying tests, and supervising test execution and failure analysis within the Platforms and Devices initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define reliability validation plans, methodology, and drive execution for reliability testing, Failure Analysis (FA) of the product.
  • Contribute to assigned project scoping and manage project priorities and allocation of technical resources within the project.
  • Debug and conduct root cause failures analysis.
  • Drive activity across different functions to provide faster time to effective corrective actions.
  • Lead product sustaining reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in reliability engineering with consumer products
  • Experience in hardware reliability.
