About the role

Hardware Operations role overseeing data center operations and managing a team of Data Center Technicians to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain server hardware and components, with a focus on global computing and network architecture and safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a collaborative team environment and effectively communicate business priorities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of teams within data center operations, work together to identify and resolve problems, and create solutions for global computing and network architecture.
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement and drive the safety culture at the site.
  • Manage the implementation of projects within the team and ensure data center-related priorities are consistent with company objectives.
  • Maintain the ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
  • 5 years of experience managing technical teams, vendor or contract management and delivery.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
