About the role

Visual designer role within Google's XR design team, focusing on visual design across XR devices and experiences in a fast-developing product space, collaborating with cross-functional partners to create user-centered experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and collaborate on visual design projects across the portfolio of XR devices and experiences, developing user-centric solutions within a novel and fast-developing product space.
  • Communicate designs to build excitement and consensus across teams, and gain support for design strategy across stakeholders.
  • Deliver polished, exceptional design executions that set the bar for great design and align with brand and established UX patterns.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (across UXD, VisD, UXE, UXR, PM, Eng) to envision, prioritize, develop, prototype and execute designs.
  • Build and document design solutions that effectively scale within the XR platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of visual design experience in product design or UX/UI design.
  • Portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume.
