About the role

Mid-level role focused on applying AI and agentic technologies to enhance cyber defense centers through designing and building AI agents, integrating security data sources, and advising on AI-enabled defense workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Identify challenges in customer Cyber Defense Centers and formulate improvement strategies; plan, implement, and oversee improvements with travel up to 25%.
  • Provide expertise for AI and Agentic technologies that assist CDC processes and advise on AI technologies used by client CDC, CSIRT, and SOC.
  • Design, build, and maintain AI agents and reusable skills to automate and augment cyber defense workflows (alert triage, threat hunting, investigation, detection authoring, reporting, etc).
  • Develop AI tooling and internal frameworks, prompt pipelines, tool/function integrations, evaluation harnesses, and orchestration for deployment across engagements.
  • Integrate agents with security data sources and platforms (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, threat feeds, ticketing) via API, MCP and other connectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Python.
  • Experience integrating systems via REST APIs and working with cloud platforms.
  • Experience building with LLMs, including prompt engineering, function/tool calling, RAG, or agent frameworks.
  • Experience with Generative AI, Generative AI Agent, Model Context Protocol, API Development, and Workflow Automation, and experience in cybersecurity in SOC or incident response roles.
