About the role

Senior Product Manager role focused on driving Personalization Quality across Google Search AI surfaces, at the intersection of AI models, user understanding, and consumer experience to deliver tailored, accurate, and trustworthy AI responses.

Responsibilities

  • Define the multi-quarter product strategy and roadmap for Personalization Quality across Search AI surfaces.
  • Establish key quality metrics, design rigorous experiments, and develop evaluation methodologies to guide data-driven modeling and product decisions.
  • Conduct analysis of model responses, live experiments, and user feedback to identify quality patterns and translate them into concrete product requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering and Research to guide model improvements, prompting strategies, and orchestration logic that elevate response relevance and helpfulness.
  • Drive alignment and execution across Engineering, Research, UX, and cross-functional partners while ensuring user trust, transparency, and privacy are upheld across all features.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience in AI/ML, Large Language Models (LLMs), recommendation systems, or search quality.
