About the role

Engineering leadership role focusing on building and guiding the YouTube Ads Infrastructure team to advance data collection and serving for high-performance advertiser audiences, with strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and technical direction.

Responsibilities

  • Bootstrap a new YouTube Ads Infrastructure team focusing on next-gen audience data collection and serving for high-performance New Customer Acquisition (NCA) and re-engagement with existing customers on YouTube.
  • Build a three year roadmap and strategy for a high-performing team with a clear sense of mission, and effective collaboration with cross-functional partner teams (Product, Sales, etc.).
  • Provide detailed designs and offer sound technical steers for in-team decisions/execution, and effective influence over cross-functional team technical alignments.
  • Set coding guidelines for the team to execute effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Experience with data processing.
  • Experience with distributed systems.
