About the role

Software engineering role focused on building high-performance networking devices, virtualizing VM networking, and developing next-generation SmartNICs for data paths, RDMA offloading, and QoS within Google Cloud Compute Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Build high-performance networking devices and expose virtualize network for VMs.
  • Develop next-generation SmartNIC for data paths, RDMA offloading and QoS.
  • Optimize low-level hardware and system performance for various cloud customer workloads.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience in testing, and launching software products.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with Virtual Machines.
