About the role

Technical Program Manager within Google's Field Integration Assembly (FIA) team, focused on governance and enabling data center construction to shift from traditional stick-built processes to a manufacturing-led assembly model with Field Assembly Plants (FAPs) across the Nordics region (Mega Scale).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate specialty contractor onboarding to the FIA prescriptive model while governing tender and delivery workflows against regional rates and technical specifications.
  • Monitor on-site installation processes to ensure strict adherence to programmatic scope, cost, and schedule baselines.
  • Review and approve Issued For Construction (IFC) models and Technical Submissions, conducting Basis of Design (BOD) deviation analyses to evaluate scope, schedule, and cost impacts.
  • Maintain the critical components inventory list, tracking off-site manufacturing milestones to proactively mitigate factory-to-site delivery risks.
  • Enforce a repeatability-first standard to reach 90% modular repeatability and shift 65% of labor off-site via prefabricated glue products, conveyances, and skids

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management, construction execution, or project governance within data center environments.
