About the role
Google software engineer role in the Content Abuse Team within Android App Safety Engineering focused on core software infrastructure and machine learning models to detect and enforce policies on malicious apps for Android.
Responsibilities
- Work on core software infrastructure and machine learning models to detect and enforce our policies on malicious apps.
- Work in a fast paced and highly skilled cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, analysts, operations, policy and legal experts. Collaborate with other teams at Google including counter abuse technology team, trust and safety, privacy, etc.
- Deliver high-quality infrastructural software and Machine Learning (ML) models in a rapidly evolving environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Go or Java).
