About the role

Strategic partnerships-focused role within Google Pixel Business Development, responsible for driving regional partner strategy and managing complex multi-party deals across the US and Japan, with dual fluency in Japanese and English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, maintain, and evolve high-impact partnerships with key partners in the US and Japan, including critical local developers, technology providers, marquee brands, and telecom industry players.
  • Structure and negotiate highly complex, first-of-kind deals and software/GTM integration partnerships with senior-level executives. Navigate and manage contracts through their entire life cycle.
  • Act as the strategic partner lead to proactively resolve high-priority issues, including orchestrating external response plans for P0 product issues and driving critical feature parity to OtherOS.
  • Collaborate across global cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Operations) to structure initiatives and present recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership for regional Pixel teams by driving product strategy through partner feedback, competitive analysis, and sharp market insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years with advanced degree.
  • Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Tech industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently.
