About the role

This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract role within Google's Market Consultant program for Australia and New Zealand. The role focuses on delivering HR processes, managing labor relations and compliance, and executing country-specific HR programs in partnership with local leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with relevant teams to ensure end-to-end delivery for HR processes in country, focusing on minimizing HR compliance risks and managing labor relations risks and related work.
  • Contribute to deployment of high-priority country-focused HR programs and initiatives aligned to the country People plan (e.g., flexible work, psychosocial frameworks, new entity setup, onboarding, RTW providers).
  • Manage local employment policies and practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance (e.g., LSL).
  • Work with the HR compliance team, process ownership team, user support team, and relevant COE teams on prioritizing and mitigating market-related risks.
  • Drive recommendations and prioritization to ensure end-to-end delivery of the Googler experience in the country.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience.
