About the role

Senior Technical Program Manager II leading the Analytics PMO within Google's Geo team, shaping strategy, delivering complex initiatives, and coaching a team of program managers to accelerate delivery and achieve Analytics OKRs.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategy and objectives for the Analytics PMO, building teams, tools, and processes to boost organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical bets and high-uncertainty initiatives, structuring newly formed teams and scopes.
  • Provide equivalent engineering insight during architectural discussions, resolving disagreements, evaluating technical trade-offs, and mitigating platform dependencies.
  • Partner across Engineering, Product, and Business Strategy while acting as a trusted leadership proxy to drive decisions and align Geo stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor high-performing Program Managers, cultivate the Technical Program Manager talent pipeline, and lead broader community and citizenship initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management.
  • 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
  • Experience with geospatial data, analytics platforms, or sustainability/environmental technology ecosystems.
