About the role

As an Operations Manager in the TPDC team, you oversee daily data center operations, manage a team of Data Center Operation Managers or Technicians, and lead installations and troubleshooting of server and network infrastructure across third-party facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Data Center operations.
  • Lead a team of Operations Managers or Data Center Technician direct reports.
  • Set and communicate individual and team priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Maintain, monitor, and execute security and operational procedures and track/analyze trends to identify opportunities for improvements ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
  • Support and contribute to the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and other compliance programs and initiatives in collaboration with other teams to ensure environmental and safety incidents are investigated, resolved, and reported.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience managing managers.
  • 10 years of experience working in data center environments, including building and operating infrastructure, network and compute architecture and lifecycle, and Linux/Unix system administration.
