About the role

Financial Analyst role focused on supporting emerging Cloud initiatives, building financial models, and partnering with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, data-driven decisions within Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive critical processes and negotiations related to transactions that enable emerging Cloud initiatives.
  • Help develop financial structures to support new business activity and coordinate with cross-functional partners and external advisors/partners.
  • Support discovery and design efforts to establish financial data systems or processes for new businesses.
  • Build and actively manage financial models that unify inputs from multiple sources for planning, discussions, and forecasts.
  • Author high-stakes presentations/narratives for executive leadership and the Board, including budget, capacity vs. plan, CapEx documents, and infrastructure strategy.
  • Collaborate with financial and operational partners, PMO, to ensure tools and processes deliver relevant information for reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, or related function, or 5 years with relevant advanced degree.
