About the role

Software Engineering Interns at Google are researchers and developers who want to create and implement complex computer science solutions. Role focuses on developing scalable, distributed software systems, collaborating on multiple projects, and applying computer science knowledge to real-world problems. Emphasis on learning, experimentation, and contributing to core products and critical engineering operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scripts to automate routine tasks.
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution to effectively solve problems.
  • Apply knowledge gained in computer science courses to real world problems.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's, Master's degree program in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Penultimate academic year of the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Experience in software development and coding in at least one general purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, JavaScript, C#, Go, etc.).
