About the role

Product Technology Manager role within Google’s gTech Ads organization, responsible for technology leadership, roadmaps, and cross-functional collaboration to improve ad products and client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to establish technical roadmaps that accomplish our business objectives. Understand complex, ambiguous, open-ended business problems and produce results-oriented strategy to solve those problems.
  • Build and action product architectures and solution roadmaps, including the design of infrastructure necessary to support the business objectives of our stakeholders.
  • Create launch programs with partners to ensure that new products and feature releases are tested before broad-scale deployment. Perform implementation reviews, convert new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are designed in a way that enable other analytical teams to easily access data for operational reporting and data visualization.
  • Collaborate with product engineers to enhance core platforms and create applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
