About the role

Tech Lead Manager role leading an engineering team for the DV360 Living Room (CTV) initiatives, balancing people leadership with hands-on software delivery, and owning end-to-end architecture for advertiser-facing frontends, real-time bidding, and serving infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers (up to 6 direct reports) focusing on Connected TV, fostering technical excellence, leadership, and strong engineering velocity.
  • Balance people leadership with technical contribution by independently designing, coding, and launching critical features for at least 50% of your time.
  • Lead the end-to-end system architecture and implementation of user-facing products, partner-facing APIs, and distributed real-time serving layers using Java, C++, Spanner/F1, and Angular/Dart.
  • Architect and scale high-availability bidding and pacing infrastructure to handle extreme live event traffic surges.
  • Direct the integration of TV-native ad formats and collaborate closely with premier streaming publishers, major SSPs, and OEM partners on technical integrations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, including 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
  • 5 years of experience with full-stack development, across back-end (e.g., Java, Python, Golang, C++) and front-end (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Experience in people leadership or team management and management.
