About the role
Senior Accountant role within Google Cloud Controllership focused on non-revenue accounting, close processes, SOX controls, and automation across Lease Accounting, Sales Commissions/Partner Incentives, general accounting operations, and M&A post-close integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end monthly and quarterly close deliverables across assigned operational domains by preparing multi-currency journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting within public accounting (Big 4) or a multinational technology environment.
- Experience with US GAAP, including general ledger accounting, accruals, and internal controls.
- Experience performing full-cycle month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
