About the role
Technical Program Manager role focused on capacity planning for Google Ads Display infrastructure, governance, and resource optimization across compute and ML accelerators and auxiliary infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Work with engineering teams to understand their resource profile and create a business and technical roadmap/plan to meet requirements.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders including engineering teams regarding resource planning.
- Manage communications and escalations related to Google compute and machine learning resource allocation.
- Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope. Use technical judgment to drive project delivery, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus.
- Monitor, measure, and communicate project progress, potential risks and delays and team performance to program teams, executives and other sponsors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in capacity planning.
- Experience with display ads.
