About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute the deployment, maintenance, and scalable operation of private data networks worldwide.
  • Monitor network performance to anticipate needs, triage issues, and orchestrate repairs with appropriate teams.
  • Utilize established design standards to plan for capacity migrations and infrastructure additions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate network documentation, including diagrams, designs, and operational plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective solutions and adopt new technologies. Direct temporary vendor resources and complete tactical operational tasks as assigned by team leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Telecommunications, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a Network Implementation Engineering-related occupation
  • 2 years of experience in: TCP/IP routing and switching or IP networking system design for network installation and troubleshooting; WAN or MPLS protocol operations for deployment and troubleshooting; coordination with field operation technicians, contractors, and vendors in a telecommunications environment; project management for network infrastructure deployments (scope, timeline, resources); LAN deployment and troubleshooting
