About the role

Google software engineering role focused on developing and overseeing the YouTube Ads Video Creatives platform, combining human creativity with AI to build and enhance advertiser video assets at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Develop direct technical leadership and architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in modern web technologies, frontend frameworks, and distributed web applications.
  • Experience with modern web languages and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, React, Dart, or similar) and server-side RPC integration.
  • Experience leading technical architecture, cross-functional projects, or mentoring engineers.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms (preferred).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction (preferred).
  • Experience building interfaces that incorporate AI/ML models, LLMs, or generative media workflows where user steering and refinement (preferred).
