About the role

The Pixel carrier certification team tests and certifies Pixel cellular products for global carriers, focusing on lab testing, PTCRB/GCF, carrier-specific testing, product benchmarking, and industry certifications. Leads benchmarking strategies and manages complex hardware/software topics with stakeholders, overseeing the device user testing team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage benchmarking Pixel devices owning development of outlook and strategy.
  • Manage complex hardware and software topics with technical stakeholders, including executive level stakeholders.
  • Define and implement benchmarking scope, testing and reporting metrics.
  • Oversee benchmarking results for accuracy, completeness, and ensure critical testing are conducted in conformance with key criteria.
  • Lead the device user testing team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in benchmarking consumer electronics.
  • 8 years of experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Experience in system level cellular engineering.
