About the role
Legal Trainee role in Google Regional Legal team based in Milan, Italy. Supports legal matters for Google and YouTube, with opportunities to learn about internet law in a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to legal requests from users and third parties in relation to Google services, and resolve internal escalations.
- Assist the legal team in the preparation and management of court actions and in the analysis of lawsuits.
- Provide support for the localization of products, marketing assessments, and agreement drafting and review.
- Conduct research on a variety of legal topics (e.g., copyright, consumer regulations, media regulations, advertising, etc.).
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge databases for the legal team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Law from an Italian University.
- Experience in a law firm or in a media/technology company.
- Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
