About the role

Partnerships Account Executive role at Bloomy, an AI-native learning platform for K-12. You will grow district partnerships, own the sales cycle from outreach to signed agreement, and work closely with the founder and Partnerships Account Manager. The role is full-time, remote (US), with travel and high emphasis on in-person district engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build your pipeline. Identify promising districts and generate opportunities through targeted email and phone outreach, referrals, conferences, and relationships with education leaders.
  • Build relationships in the field. Proactively arrange district and school visits, meet academic leaders and decision-makers in person, and develop a strong presence at regional education events.
  • Lead discovery and demos. Understand each district’s instructional priorities, current tools, and needs. Demonstrate how Bloomy could support its students and educators.
  • Guide districts through the purchasing process. Identify decision-makers and internal champions, understand budget timing and funding, and coordinate evaluations, pilots, proposals, procurement requirements, and approvals. Keep opportunities moving with clear next steps.
  • Deliver against sales goals. Build a qualified pipeline, close new district partnerships, and maintain accurate opportunity records and forecasts in our CRM.
  • Coordinate a strong handoff. Transition new partners to our Partnerships Account Manager, ensuring their goals, commitments, and implementation needs are clearly documented.
  • Improve execution alongside the founder. Put our sales strategy into practice, share what you’re learning, and help refine messaging and approaches as we grow.
  • Bring customer insight back to the team. Share what you hear about instructional needs, product gaps, and reasons districts buy or decide against buying.

Qualifications

  • Experience winning new business with K-12 districts and ability to source, develop, and close opportunities.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding new-business sales goals with clear examples.
  • Experience generating opportunities and moving them through to close.
  • Strong discovery skills and ability to connect product to district needs.
  • Confidence building relationships with curriculum and instruction leaders and other district stakeholders.
  • Clear writing, follow-through, and pipeline management.
  • Comfort with evolving sales processes and turning successful approaches into repeatable habits.
  • Sound judgment on promises to customers and founder involvement when needed.
  • Interest in education and deep product knowledge of Bloomy.
  • Experience selling instructional software, assessments, intervention tools, or AI products to districts is a plus.
  • Classroom experience and experience at an early-stage company are advantages.
