About the role

Security Manager responsible for overseeing physical security of large-scale data center hardware decommissioning and reverse logistics operations within re:Cycle Reverse Logistics, a stand-alone Amazon-affiliated company. Focus on managing security programs, risk analysis, vendor management, and driving security readiness across operations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology, and the risks and threats that could impact the operation.
  • Performing annual risk analysis to provide leadership and best practices on security policy and practices.
  • Supporting the operations team with security-related advice and guidance as well as contract security staff to achieve strategic program objectives.
  • Collaborating with peers across sites and regions to ensure safe, secure environments and safeguard assets.
  • Educating stakeholders on emergency readiness, promoting a culture of security awareness, conducting regular drills, and updating plans annually.
  • Providing periodic performance, program and strategic roadmap briefings to senior leaders.
  • Defining and enforcing high standards for security programs and adapting structure and processes where none exist.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of law enforcement, or 5+ years of security-related professional experience
  • 3+ years of work in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans experience
  • Experience overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors
  • 3+ years of experience of video surveillance equipment
