About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services commissioning role focused on testing, validation, and coordination of electrical and mechanical systems in AWS data centers, leading Factory Witness Testing and managing third-party vendors across multiple projects in the AMER-West region.

  • The Commissioning Engineer (CxE) provides testing and validation oversight of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
  • Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submittals
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant discipline work experience
