About the role

Amazon Mexico Retail team is looking for a data driven, customer-obsessed, hands on and creative candidate to join our team. As Vendor Manager, you'll work with different vendors to help drive growth and help deliver a best-in-class customer experience on amazon.com.mx, while facilitating great business relationships with some of Amazon's highest visibility brands.

Responsibilities

  • Look after a brand’s product portfolio, contributing to improvements in the user experience for customers and creating detailed monthly reports on performance.
  • Lead presentations and planning sessions with vendors and act as the main point of contact for them.
  • Provide support to drive category growth through detailed analysis of business inefficiencies and identifying solutions; proposing changes to operational processes; driving a high standard in customer satisfaction; ensuring high-quality product detail pages; making recommendations for effective marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Excel experience
  • 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
  • Experience working across teams and synthesizing feedback from multiple teams/owners
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading) and ability to take direction in English
