About the role

Leader responsible for the Global Financial Services (GFS) Specialist team within AWS, owning end-to-end go-to-market strategy, coordinating with cross-functional partners, and driving AWS adoption for complex financial services workloads across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

  • - Leading the creation and execution of the GFS go-to-market plan and related insight-based programs to expand AWS market share within top customers, segments, and verticals
  • - Driving revenue, developing sales programs, and identifying new markets and opportunities in collaboration with customers
  • - Partnering with AWS services and industry teams to identify workloads that impact AWS solutions
  • - Mapping technology applications to customer business scenarios to improve operational outcomes with AWS solutions
  • - Building sales enablement tools and evangelizing the platform to enterprise, mid-market customers, and partners; serving as the primary Executive Briefing Center representative for WWSO
  • - Acting as a trusted business advisor with data-driven program design and progress tracking, adjusting for desired results
  • - Leading global, decentralized teams and guiding cross-functional efforts to drive AWS adoption in key workloads within the WWSO portfolio
  • - Defining, driving, measuring, managing and coaching workload-focused goals across the business

Qualifications

  • - 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures
  • - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 10+ years of relevant professional or military experience
  • - Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • - Experience influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with solutions or programs that have demonstrated enterprise success
  • - Experience in the financial services industry
