About the role

Internship offering to join AWS Data Center Controls Deployment & Services (CDS) within the DCCD organization, focusing on learning and supporting control systems for data center power and cooling through hands-on project work, documentation, and tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing points lists and sequences of operation against design documents
  • Helping build and track digital inspection and testing checklists
  • Analysing alarm and trend data to find recurring issues and their root causes
  • Keeping technical records, such as as-built drawings and test documents, accurate and current
  • Supporting small automation and tooling projects that save the team time

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering
  • Year 3 or final-year student
  • Coursework in control systems (e.g., feedback loops, PID control or automation)
  • Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering (circuits, power distribution) and mechanical engineering (thermodynamics, fluids or HVAC)
  • Able to commit the full-time internship
  • Candidates must be able to legally work in Singapore
