About the role

Account Executives at Amazon Business drive revenue and customer engagements with mid-market business customers, balancing new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts. The role focuses on building relationships at the C-Suite and across procurement, production, maintenance, supply chain, and IT to deliver tailored procurement solutions within a fast-growing Amazon Business organization.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and develop strong relationships with mid-market business customers
  • Balance time between acquiring new business customers and helping customers optimize their account
  • Understand customers' procurement requirements and collaborate with internal Amazon teams to determine best solutions
  • Develop relationships at the C-Suite level and across procurement, production, maintenance, supply chain and IT
  • Meet and exceed sales goals across assigned territory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of B2B sales/marketing with mid-market and/or enterprise customers
  • Experience owning a customer portfolio and building a sales pipeline across high-value existing accounts
  • Experience with sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and intermediate-to-advanced Excel/MS Office skills
