About the role

SDE for the Ordering team at Amazon, focused on large-scale distributed systems and the end-to-end retail ordering workflow. Design flexible, scalable solutions and own systems end-to-end, impacting hundreds of millions of customers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with large scale distributed systems, orchestrating the entire retail ordering workflow
  • Own their systems end to end and influence the direction of our technology
  • Design flexible and scalable solutions using data structures, algorithms, and object oriented programming
  • Work on real world problems on a global scale within the eCommerce services group

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
