About the role

Applied Scientist role on the Prime Video Sports personalization team in Israel, developing state-of-the-art ML and recommender systems to personalize live sports content recommendations and real-time experiences at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Researching, designing, developing, and deploying algorithms into production pipelines
  • Developing new algorithms and end-to-end solutions for Personalization, Information Retrieval, and Recommender Systems
  • Working with latest technologies in recommender systems and search
  • Tackling challenges like temporal information retrieval to improve real-time sports content recommendations
  • Publishing original work in top-tier conferences in Machine Learning and Recommender Systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and systems to drive impact

Qualifications

  • PhD, or a Master’s degree and experience in CS, CE, ML or related field
  • Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
  • Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
