About the role

Senior Program Manager role focused on manufacturing systems engineering for Leo satellite build systems. Owns roadmaps, cross-functional coordination across hardware, software, supply chain, and production test systems, and delivers KPI-driven improvements across end-to-end manufacturing operations for Leo satellite production.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and tracking of various engineering work-streams - tools and frameworks, tests systems and test optimization that span end-to-end from contract manufacturers to Leo factory locations.
  • Establish the linkage between production roadmap and goals to team level work-streams for progress measurement, monitoring and risk mitigation.
  • Represent overall impact of systems and solutions delivered to yield, speed, manufacturability, cost, stability and trust.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans for specific projects and operations.
  • Understand dependencies among multiple cross functional teams and their roadmaps, synchronize milestones, identify constraints and necessary ways to unblock delivery.
  • Create programs and outreach communications for successful rollout of various solutions
  • Drive executive communication cadence and deliver artifacts that provide insight into the activities, accomplishments, challenges and risks of operations to senior leadership.
  • Measure, analyze, improve, and control KPIs across all aspects of the operation.
  • Work with software and analytics teams to develop reporting tools and applications that support, operating rhythms
  • Advices production directors and sr. managers on technology and execution decisions and ensure effective communication of changes and improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
