About the role

Senior AI/ML practitioner and trusted advisor for AWS Professional Services, focusing on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning to transform telecom customers’ business and operations on AWS. Leads large-scale engagements, shapes AI/cloud transformation strategies, mentors delivery teams, and drives capability evolution across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Advise customer technologists and business leaders on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning to design scalable AI solutions on AWS with measurable business value
  • Discuss complex industry-specific business and technology concepts with senior customer stakeholders, particularly in Telecommunications
  • Lead executive and technical workshops to identify transformation opportunities and define AI/ML-driven outcomes
  • Drive large and complex customer engagements across pre-sales and delivery from ideation through architecture, scoping, execution, and delivery
  • Provide technical leadership and delivery oversight to ensure alignment on scope, architecture, timelines, risks, and business outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor guiding AI and cloud transformation initiatives balancing governance, scalability, and operational readiness
  • Mentor consultants and delivery teams, promoting AWS best practices and high standards of technical delivery

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics techniques
  • 5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) or scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical software
  • 3+ years of customer-facing work with executives or partners
  • 4+ years of working with Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage)
  • 3+ years of coding or data querying/scripting experience
