About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Logistics specialists maintain onsite parts rooms in AWS Data Centres, managing custody of computer hardware through its lifecycle, including receiving, storing, picking, delivering, cycle counts, and returning defective equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining inventory levels to ensure that stock items are available to support build and repair activities.
  • Receiving parts, checking shipments and issuing parts as needed for internal customers.
  • Loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different sites.
  • Maintaining accurate stock records for all items within our care.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces using 5S principles.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics
