About the role

RME Planner develops maintenance plans and schedules using preventive and predictive maintenance data and KPIs, audits equipment, and coordinates parts, labor, and vendors to support a proactive reliability-centered maintenance program within Amazon's Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) organization.

Responsibilities

  • Screen work orders and analyze scope requirements to schedule maintenance activities based on available resources, work criticality, and maintenance windows
  • Perform equipment audits to document job requirements, order spare parts for facility and material handling equipment, and coordinate with vendors for repairs
  • Plan reliability improvement projects and collect engineering drawings and technical specifications to maximize system efficiency and performance
  • Drive proactive maintenance programs that achieve 85% planned work targets while ensuring all activities derive from APM and close accurately in Amazon's maintenance virtuous cycle
  • Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • 1+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Travel up to 15% of the time
