About the role

Technical leadership role responsible for the design, architecture, and continuous improvement of data center infrastructure systems across regions, driving engineering best practices, standards, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable facilities at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of data center infrastructure systems, taking ownership of system-wide guidance and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable across global facilities.
  • Drive resolution of complex technical problems by identifying root causes, evaluating trade-offs and constraints, and implementing solutions that balance short-term operational needs with long-term business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams and stakeholders to align on infrastructure strategy, lead project and design reviews, and communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and implement new mechanisms that simplify infrastructure systems, improve reliability, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Coach and mentor engineers within your organization, contributing to their professional development and strengthening the team's overall technical capability.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
  • 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
  • Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
  • Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
