About the role

Join our AWS team to maintain and operate data center infrastructure, performing hardware/network repair, installations, documentation, and process improvements in a 24/7 environment with travel between data center sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform server rack installations, hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshoot network issues, respond to operational incidents impacting service availability, and conduct routine repairs of network, server hardware, and operating systems to ensure AWS service availability
  • Serve as primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors
  • Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues
  • Help train and onboard new team members

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • High school or equivalent diploma
